great conversation. The calendrics handed down to us are a pattern of external electromagnetic stimuli that changes from day to day. The 20 day repeating cycle is the most accurate I know of. Knowing and following these will illucidate the origin of many thoughts which feel foreign or questionable. Cleaning the brain in meditation and organizing it like a junk drawer can help as well. Those two things will at least give a person a head start towards recognizing their own thoughts and sorting out which ones are original. I would estimate that less than 30 % of our thoughts are original from ourselves. Once that is familiar, it is fairly easy to spot someone acting purely from the stimuli that is external, and conversely one can spot someone who is operating highly original or sovereign spirit based.
